Common questions
Can I transcribe a video without captions?
Yes. The tool reads existing captions first, then transcribes the audio if captions are unavailable. Loud music and overlapping voices can cause missing or incorrect words.
Can I upload a file or extract text from the picture?
This tool accepts video links. It does not upload local files or read text that appears on screen without being spoken.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
It is free to use without an account. Each network or browser can submit up to 20 videos in 24 hours, one at a time. You may need to wait when the queue is busy.
How long are results available?
Results are available for 6 hours in the browser you used to submit the link. Copy the text or download the files you want to keep.
